Site information

Privacy.

A plain-language explanation of how Gibidda Press handles information when you use this website or contact the Press.

Effective August 3, 2026.

Gibidda Press is a small independent publisher founded and operated by Edison Mooers. This notice applies to GibiddaPress.com, the browser-based resources hosted on it, and information submitted through the Gibidda Press contact form.

Information collected through the contact form

When you submit the contact form, Gibidda Press collects the information you choose to provide. This normally includes your name, email address, inquiry type, and message. Depending on the subject, the form may also ask for an organization or institution, role, related book or resource, course or program details, approximate enrollment or participant count, ordering information, intended use, a deadline, a page or edition reference, or technical troubleshooting details.

The form does not accept attachments, payment-card information, passwords, or other sensitive personal information. Please do not include confidential records or information that is not necessary to address the inquiry.

How contact information is used and routed

Contact information is used to review, route, and respond to the inquiry; evaluate educator requests; provide or discuss instructional materials; support institutional or bulk ordering; address rights and permissions; respond to media or review requests; investigate corrections; and resolve website, companion, or QF Code issues.

Submissions are routed according to the inquiry type. General, educator, ordering, library, media, and ordinary website inquiries may be delivered to the Press's hello@gibiddapress.com inbox. Team, corporate, QA, workforce, and related program inquiries may be delivered to teams@gibiddapress.com. Editorial, technical, correction, rights, personal, and other selected inquiries may be delivered to Edison Mooers's private administrative inbox. For selected categories, Edison may receive an internal copy even when another Press inbox is the primary destination.

Messages may be reviewed by Edison Mooers or an authorized representative of Gibidda Press responsible for the subject. Information is not sold, rented, or used for unrelated advertising or marketing.

How the form is processed

The form is processed on the Gibidda Press hosting account and sent by email through the hosting provider's mail relay. The website does not place submissions in a public directory or a contact-form database. The form uses basic anti-spam controls, including a hidden field, a minimum submission time, and a signed form token. These controls do not require an account or an advertising cookie.

No automatic confirmation email is sent to the address entered in the form. A successful submission is confirmed on the website.

Retention

Contact submissions and related correspondence are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, administer the request, maintain records of educator evaluations, orders, permissions, rights discussions, or business correspondence, resolve disputes, and meet legal or accounting obligations. Routine inquiries may be deleted when they are no longer needed.

Technical information

Like most websites, the hosting provider may process or retain ordinary server-log information, such as an IP address, browser or device type, requested page, referring page, and the date and time of a request. This information may be used for security, reliability, troubleshooting, and basic site operation.

Gibidda Press does not intentionally use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or on-site behavioral advertising. If analytics are introduced later, this notice will be updated to describe the actual implementation.

QF Code and browser-based tools

The QF Code editor runs locally in your browser. Code entered into the editor is not sent to Gibidda Press by the current implementation. Opening or saving a file uses your browser's local file features; Gibidda Press does not receive the file unless you separately choose to include relevant code in a contact message or send it through another service.

The interactive handbook reader can store a list of sections you mark complete in your browser's local storage. That progress is not sent to Gibidda Press and can be cleared from the handbook home page or through your browser settings.

External links

The site links to services and websites operated by others, including Amazon, Zolliboo, QuibbleFox, Gibidda, Goodreads, and EdisonMooers.com. When you follow one of those links, that service's own privacy policy and practices apply.

Children's privacy

The Press publishes children's books, but the website and contact form are not directed at children and are intended for adults, educators, librarians, booksellers, reviewers, and other readers or professionals. Gibidda Press does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the site. A parent or guardian who believes a child has submitted personal information may contact the Press to request review or deletion.

Changes to this notice

This notice may be updated when the site, contact process, routing, analytics, or other information practices change. The effective date at the top of the page identifies the current version.

Questions or requests

Questions about this notice, or requests concerning information submitted through the contact form, can be sent through the Gibidda Press contact form.
